World Water Day, held on the 22nd of March every year since 1993, is an annual United Nations Observance focusing attention on the importance of water.
Chris brings a wealth of experience to the district, having worked in the industry for several years.
Denver Water is offering its residential customers, which include district customers, a limited number of discounts on two popular programs run by the nonprofit Resource Central: its turf removal service
Homeowner Responsibility
The sewer service line is owned and maintained by homeowners, including the connection to the district’s main. All maintenance and repairs within the service line are the homeowner’s responsibility, even the portion of the pipe within the street.
The district office will be closed on Monday, February 19 for Presidents Day.

DENVER — Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024 — At its meeting today, the Denver Board of Water Commissioners named Alan Salazar as permanent CEO/Manager of Denver Water, effective immediately.
On Aug. 7, 2023, Salazar started as an interim CEO, while the board continued its process to fully determine what was best for the long-term future of Denver Water.
