Backflow Preventer Theft

Recently, the district has responded to multiple reports of “water breaks” or “shooting geysers” that were the results of stolen backflow preventers.

South Platte Renew WaterFest

Join South Platte Renew’s WaterFest for family-friendly fun and environmental education!

This event takes place Thursday, June 20, from 3 pm to 7 pm at 2900 S. Platte River Dr. in Englewood, CO.

2024 Water Quality Report Available

Denver Water collects more than 55,000 water samples and conducts more than 200,000 tests every year to ensure that the water delivered to 1.5 million people is clean and safe.

Those samples and tests are part of a year-round effort monitored by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Those agencies also require water providers to issue an annual report on water quality.
