Winterize Your Sprinkler System Before it Freezes
The district would like to remind its customers to turn off and winterize their sprinkler systems before the first freeze of the season.Without proper preparation, your sprinkler system might be damaged by freezing temperatures.
- Shut off the water supply to the irrigation system.
- If you have a timer/automatic controller, don’t forget to turn that off too.
- Drain water from the pipes, sprinklers, and hoses.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the COLUMBINE WATER AND SANITATION DISTRICT, of the County of Arapahoe, State of Colorado, will hold a special meeting at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Toast, 2630 W Belleview Ave, Ste. 100, Littleton, Colorado 80123. This meeting will be held for the purpose of conducting such business as may come before the Board. This meeting is open to the public.

What is the average water pressure for a home?
The answer will depend on your home’s physical relation to the water source supply. If your home is at a higher elevation relative to a water source location, you will have lower pressure. If your home is downhill from a water source, your water pressure will be higher. Average water pressure for a home within district boundaries is about 75 psi, however this will vary depending on your location. The lowest pressure areas within the district run around 60 psi.
