2021 Water and Sewer Rates Increase
Water Rates
On October 28, the Denver Board of Water Commissioners adopted rate changes that will take effect January 1, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 rate increase will primarily fund the Lead Reduction Program that launched in January 2020.
Office Closed New Year's Day
The District office will be closed on Friday, January 1st for New Year's Day.

2021 Budget Now Available
The 2021 Columbine Water and Sanitation District Budget includes an explanatory budget report, the 2021 budget, property tax assessment report, a schedule of lease – purchase agreements, and the ten-year financial plan. The financial portion includes 2018 and 2019 actual results, an estimate of 2020 results and the 2021 budget.
Avoid Frozen Pipes this Winter
The District has responded to several customer service calls this season involving leaks on irrigation lines, back flow preventers and service lines due to freezing temperatures. The following steps can help you avoid costly water damage when temperatures plunge.
Before cold weather sets in:
Winterize your irrigation systems. Make sure that you turn everything off and fully drain or blow-out the system. Be sure to disconnect garden hoses from all spigots.

South Platte Renew 4th Annual Grease and Oil Take-Back Event
On Saturday, November 28, 2020, South Platte Renew (SPR) is hosting its 4th Annual Grease and Oil Take-Back event from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 2900 South Platte River Drive in Englewood.
This event is strategical timed for the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so community members can bring in used oil and grease from their holiday meal to dispose of it properly.
At Thanksgiving time, holiday cooking can leave gallons of unwanted oil and grease to clean up.
